Marking Scheme for KCET Result 2023
The KCET exam mode was held in offline mode. The question paper has 3 sections each section belongs to 60 marks and a total of 180 marks. Each question contains 1 mark and there is no negative marking for wrong or incorrect answer. Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics such subjects are included in the question paper. The question paper was in the MCQ format. The KCET exam was held in two languages English & Kannada.

KCET Counselling Process 2023

Percentage Calculation of KCET Result 2023

When announcing the ranks, the KEA board will assign equal weight to the CET and PUC board exams. If you receive 294 out of 300, your percentage will be 98%. By multiplying by 2, we get 49%. If you receive 150 on the KCET, it equals 83% of 180 points, which you can then divide by two to get 41.5%. With both added together, the ultimate score will be 90.5%, and the ranks will be determined by the combined score and the number of students who participated.
