Gruha Jyoti Yojana (Zero Bill)

To avail of the benefit of Zero Bill candidates have to submit the required document such as the previous year’s electricity bill to check if the residents consume extra electricity rather than the previous year or consume the same. If applicants consume extra electricity than the last year, then they have to pay for the additional units consumed. If residents consume the same lump-sum units of electricity as the previous year, they will not have to pay anything extra under the electricity bill.
