Bihar School Teacher Syllabus 2023
For all teachers of primary to secondary education or school: The exam will be conducted in two parts, Part I and Part II. Part I English language will be common in all stages of the teacher exam. In Part II candidates have to choose one of the languages from Hindi/Urdu/Bangla. Candidates must have to score at least 30% marks including both parts. However, there is no negative marking.
Primary School Teacher for Class 1-5: In this paper, subjects are included such as Primary Mathematics, Mental Ability Test, General Awareness, General Science, Indian National Movement, Geography, and Environment. The questions on General Studies will be related to the Primary school syllabus SCRET, but its level will be in the light of the minimum qualification prescribed for the candidate.
Secondary School Teacher for Class 9-10: The exam will be conducted in two parts, Part I and Part II. In Part I candidates have to choose one of the languages from Hindi/Urdu/Bangla/Sanskrit/Arbi/Farsi/English/science, Math/Social Science. The subject paper will be related to the syllabus of subjects of secondary schools, Bihar School Examination Committee / NCERT, but its level will be in the light of the minimum qualification prescribed for the candidate. Part II will be a General Studies Paper. The following subjects are contained in papers of Class 9-10 teachers Primary Mathematics, General Awareness, General Science, Indian National Movement, and Geography.
Higher Secondary School Teacher for Class 11-12: The exam will be conducted in two parts, Part I and Part II. In Part I candidates have to choose one of the languages from Hindi/Urdu/Bangla/Sanskrit/Arbi/Farsi/English/science, Math/Social Science/Bhojpuri/Pali/Marathi/Magahi/ Zoology, History, Economics, Sociology, Computer Science, Home Science, Commerce, Philosophy, Psychology, Accounting, Music, and Entrepreneurship. The subject paper will be related to the syllabus of subjects of secondary schools, Bihar School Examination Committee / NCERT, but its level will be in the light of the minimum qualification prescribed for the candidate.
